Wildernessgirl, did you hear back from U of Montana. Did anyone receive in-state tuition of receive funding to UNC? Sadly, I had to turn down the offer.

I'm Advanced Standing so probably received the information earlier. The application was e-mailed. Has anyone been able to speak with UNC? Phone or e-mail?

I haven't heard a peep. I tried calling yesterday but couldn't get anyone on the phone. I'm feeling pressure from other schools for an answer and I too would like to know where I will be living in a month.

Waiting for UNC financial aid but received information about practicum. Are you filling out the application for practicum before you hear back about funding?

I received information about practicum placements yesterday and the e-mail encouraged students to begin with the process. Is anyone on the board accepting without knowing about funding first? I am directing this more towards out-of-state students.

Bquinn, don't sweat it. Stats give little indication for acceptance in an MSW program. Experience in the field will definitely help your chances... And a killer personal statement
