just got this from hunter - what does it mean? seems like a no and then a maybe? "Thank you for your patience. We would like to inform you that your application is in the final stages of review. It has been reviewed by the committee and was not moved forward for an interview. It will be reviewed again and either moved to interview or not accepted to our program. All decisions will be posted to your online application shortly (by the end of the week). If “pending interview”, you will receive electronic notification first to schedule time to meet with us on campus. If not accepted, notification will be posted online only. The office is not available to answer questions about non-acceptance until August-Reapplication Information Session (will be posted on our website). If accepted for non-matriculated status, applicants will receive a separate letter in the mail."

I just got my financial aid too - offered $8,500 in scholarships, which again, doesn't even come close to helping.

I just called and asked about when we should expect to hear back - they were pretty unhelpful. I told them I submitted it completely on 2/5 and they said it could take until as long as May to hear back.

Mine was completed on 2/5 and I still haven't heard anything, interview or not!

I applied to Hunter and completed my app on Feb 5, and still haven't heard anything! the wait is killing me

my last name begins with an O, and I submitted my app before the deadline soo I think we just all need to wait it out!

I emailed them about when we would hear back and this is what I got: "Fall decisions are usually sent out around March 1st. We started sending out some decisions this week but you should receive a decision from us next week."

I just got into NYU this morning! Still waiting to hear back from Columbia and Hunter...
