Received an email the other day that I got waitlisted and Wolverine Access has not updated anything about my status - so maybe stop checking that obsessively lol. I already accepted my admission at OSU, so no biggie. I didn't even have an interview with them or anything so I kinda suspected it! Good luck everyone!!!

At least you had an interview and have heard things from them! I applied mid-January and have not heard a thing except a link to check my application status. I'm assuming that's bad news for me. Oh well! I have asked the "is it worth it?" question to a few of my social work professors and they all said "No." The common response was that since our field isn't as competitive as say...... medical school...... the prestige of the program in social work is not worth $40,000 a year. They all went to state schools and have very good jobs! So I think I'll go for a cheaper option, since I have heard back from my other schools and got into all of them!

I applied mid-January and still haven't heard anything. I got account info for Wolverine access about a month after I applied... It was very strange. I still haven't heard a decision. Hang in there!

I actually researched it more since posting this and you are correct about that. It is more affordable than Case, but with my scholarship from Case and no scholarship from OSU they are about even. So my decision gets tougher. AHHHH! Thanks so much for the input!!!

I applied mid-January and that means I probably won't hear anything for a month or so... and my other schools want me to accept or decline soon. I'm just assuming I didn't get in, since I haven't heard anything I suppose. But it's strange because I got into a few other top ten programs with big scholarships! Oh well. I did visit a couple other schools that I fell in love with. It will all work out!

Okay! They gave me an OK scholarship but it's not enough for their mammoth tuition haha CONGRATS THOUGH!!

Hello all! I received an email today telling me that I got accepted into OSU's MSW program - yay! The email says absolutely NOTHING about financial aid. It also said I'll get an official letter of acceptance in the mail. Would financial aid info possibly be in the letter they are sending me or does this mean that I'm not getting any financial aid/scholarships? Thanks in advance!!! Yayyyyyy! I got accepted there too. How did you find out? And have they told you about financial aid yet?

If you're asking me about case, it's the regular FT program. I do not have a BSW.

I haven't heard a thing from OSU! My scholarship info from Case also came, and like you said, it will still be more expensive than OSU is without scholarship. We do have some decisions to make :/ I spoke to one of my social work professors at UD about it, and she said that the extra money is only worth it if we want to be a teacher at an Ivy league school or something. She went to OSU for grad school and really liked it. In fact all of my social work professors at my undergrad school went to OSU. If that helps your decision at all. I'll probably end up at OSU if I get in! But I still haven't heard anything and I applied mid-January.

Hi all, Not sure if this helps but I was accepted to CWRU. I applied January 15th and also did not receive that email that BunnyMeadows received about my application being under review. They are sending my fin aid info via snail mail hopefully sometime this week. I also applied to OSU that same day and have not heard a thing from them. Congrats on finishing apps, everyone! Ali

Hey all! I applied January 16th, 2015. Wondering if anyone who applied around that time has heard anything. I have a feeling I didn't get accepted -- my wolverine access page says Application Complete and someone on here mentioned that it means I probably got denied or waitlisted. I also don't seem as qualified as the people on here who are getting accepted! Hah. Congrats to everyone! Ali
