  1. we need to notify CGS of schools violating the Apr 15 policy so others won't suffer like us

  2. Hi guys! I'm starting a PhD in Electrical Engineering this year, and I just wanted to ask how difficult it would be to live off campus without a car? I'm not really sure about the double-bed grad "dorm", as I would prefer to find my feet beforehand, maybe in a reasonably priced studio flat. Any suggestions really appreciated! Cheers
  3. San Diego and G-tech I'm pretty sure have given out all their primary offers (I contacted UCSD and they said so), and my friends got fellowships from UTA ages ago, so I guess I wouldn't get my hopes up. (This way anything that DOES come up will be a very welcome surprise) Personally, I've given up on any schools that haven't answered yet, and will accept my only funded admit unless something changes DRASTICALLY in the next few days. Best of luck to all of you, fellow engineers
  4. Oh yeah they remember. I've seen other profs do the holy shit bug eyed look when they see rejected students later at professional meetings.
