Congrats miche28, we will be classmates! looking forward to August too, I feel like it's just around the corner! Out.to.sea, thanks so much for the great info, I signed up for two courses. Going to give them a try, it is tempting to sign up for a bunch of them, there are so many to pick from! Lol!

On the subject of stats...is anyone thinking of taking a refresher course in stats before they start this fall? Just curious if anyone has ever taken a refresher course after graduating, do you typically take them where you graduated from, or are there some good ones online that anyone could recommend?

@MPH85, Thank you for the info! It is really encouraging to hear that your friends enjoyed the program and were successful in finding great jobs after! I know Waterloo itself is a very well respected school, I guess I'm just getting used to the idea of online courses! They seem to have high standards regardless, which is encouraging. I am a fan of the seemingly innovative nature of the school. So...today I went ahead and accepted my offer from Waterloo

Hello, This is such a great forum, I'm so glad I found it! I too have just applied for the MPH programs at Waterloo and U of T (health promotion stream), and am playing the waiting game! I did already receive my offer of admission to Waterloo, and am super excited! But have not heard back from U of T yet. Waterloo was my first choice when I applied because the online format is appealing, and their program content seems to be more in line with my career aspirations; however, after reading some posts (particularly from previous years), I wonder if Waterloo is as respected of a program? I don't know if I should hold out to hear from U of T (which is taking forever! Lol!!) I am super tempted to push accept, I only have two weeks left to decide... Just curious if anyone else has accepted Waterloo yet? What are some of your impressions of their program? I was also curious to those that received offers from UofT, did you see your status change to "decision reached" before or after you received your letter in the mail?
