  1. Hi all, I have been accepted to both programs which is exciting yet nerve wrecking at the same time :/ I wanted to see if anyone had any feedback on both programs, the area of the city, living etc. They both have offered me similar scholarships but Chicago tuition is a bit more. Also, how much weight should one put on rankings? Are they really that important? thanks!
  2. I'm really new at this grad forum, sorry for the late response and thank you for your feedback. I ended up turning down USC.. Now I am stuck on Boston College and UChicago based on what you said regarding the areas.
  3. It is about 30,000 in difference but boston is also offering a scholarship which USC is not
  4. Hi, I was wondering if anyone would be able to provide any insight, advice, or just thoughts. USC has been my dream school for as long as I can remember , I've been accepted but unfortunately the price tag is pretty up there. BC is also an amazing school and have offered financial assistance. Now I need to decide :/ I'm going for a clinical concentration. I'm not factoring the weather on this one but more so the education itself. Thanks!
  5. I'm a regular I just submitted my acceptance. Do you know if once they receive it they will send me more information regarding my email and classes? Or is it all on my own? I'm super new to all this, and not being from the area makes everything sooo much harder. Also, do you know of good places to live around? Thanks!
  6. That's great news! I will be visiting in May hopefully! I hope I feel in the right place will be submitting my acceptance tomorrow. Good luck with everything! And please let us know of things you feel are of importance as a new graduate student along your journey.
  7. Anybody accepted to Boston College and attending??
  8. Thank you for your response! I'm siding more towards BC, I was granted the same type of aid for both schools if you don't mind me asking are you from the area? Have you actually visited the school? Thanks!!
  9. Hi, just wondering in regards to the financial aid assistance, how do you ask them for more? BC seems amazing but the cost of attending is pretty up there.
  10. Hi there, I applied late February and received my response 1week ago. I hope this helps!
  11. Hi all, just got accepted for fall 2015 to both Boston College and BU ... Any advice ? I'm from California so not very familiar with the schools but have heard great things about them both. Also, has anyone else been accepted?
