I've been researching dismissal policies of each SLP grad program I might apply to and found that some may dismiss you for getting one "B-" in their graduate program. In my opinion, this is a bit harsh. Why do you think some grad programs are so strict and quick to kick their students out?

curly_girl, can you tell us the names of the specific schools you are referring to with those acceptance rates?

Hi everyone, I am currently taking online courses and found out that some graduate programs do NOT accept pre-reqs if they are taken online. One of the schools that does not accept online pre-reqs is Touro College. Does anyone know which other schools do NOT accept online pre-reqs and those that do accept them?

Can anyone please help me compile a list of slp grad programs that evaluate the gpa of your last 60 credits in their decision or your major GPA? Perferably in the nyc area or online..but also curious to know of programs anywhere else in the country too. My major gpa and last 60 credits are higher than my overall gpa which is why I am interested...

Has anyone from Utah State University's online post bac communication disorders program used their online professors for grad school recommendations? What are your experiences? Did you feel like it helped or hurt your grad school application?

I'm having trouble finding sites where I can do my oberservation hours, especially because I work fulltime. Can anyone recommend sites where I can do my 25 hours of observation for speech language pathology during the nights or weekends in New York City(or surrounding areas)?
