  1. SOP? Also, what type of writing samples? All of the professors I am asking for LORs have had me in their classes. I am honestly not sure what should be highlighted in a LOR. I am applying for an MS in public health, so I'm not sure exactly what should be highlighted besides the typical things: hard working, analytic student etc.?
  2. What do I bring, exactly? What do I do, besides discuss what I plan to do?
  3. Taking a break from my post-undergrad depression to seriously consider if I am realistic in trying to get into an MS public health (or potentially, an MS experimental psych with behavioral neuroscience specialization) program at Rutgers or potentially Montclair. These are my GRE scores. Verbal: 162, quant: 146, writing: 4.5 (though it seems most don't care about writing?).
  4. So I am unsure of what programs to apply to as of right now, I am between a PhD program for behavioral neuroscience and a nurse practitioner bridge program, leaning toward the PhD. I am unsure of which program I am going to apply for, but I would like to start asking professors for LORs. I graduated in August and I am unsure about which professors to ask for LORs, although I have a few ideas. Articles I've read say not to ask over emails, but I live a fair away from the campus, and I'm not sure if it's inappropriate to go to their office hours or ask for an appointment considering I'm not a student anymore. Anyone have any suggestions or advice for this kind of situation?
  5. Hello, going to take the GRE tomorrow evening. Do I have to bring any ticket or confirmation receipt, etc.? Is my driver's license adequate ID? Also, I am driving myself, so will my stuff be secure e.g. bag, keys, phone? Thanks!
  6. Apparently the site is buggy. I just found a bunch of available seats, just panicked that I was too late. Thank you
  7. Hi all, I live in New Jersey and am hoping to take the general test in the fall. When I tried to register, there is absolutely NO registration date anywhere for any of the locations, even into next year, fall 2016? Is this possible? Or is there something wrong with the system that there are no seats available anywhere, at any time? Also, when is it a good time to register, generally? Thanks
