  1. It seems like SO much money. I am staying local which helps but I hate the thought of MORE loans. Anyhow, I will be taking out Stafford loans. I agree with ealrier poster, no private loans for me. I was blessed to get a partial scholarship, if I didn't I can not afford it at all.
  2. Hi, I had the same problem. I got married last September and had to put my husbands income on my fasfa. He makes nearly double my salary so I was worried it would negativly impact me. Some schools offer merit aid which has nothing to do with income. I was very lucky and got a merit scholarship (20K). So, it does suck but once you are married there is no around it (trust me I have tried). Try researching whether or not the schools you are interested in offer merit aid. Other than that you could wait to get married, but if you are in love why wait!
  3. Hi! To original poster: Bridgewater State offers Speech & Hearing Science over the summer. I took it there last summer. They also offer A&P of Speech Mech. It is about 30 minutes outside of Boston and it cost me $816 (much cheaper than any school in Boston). I'm deciding b/t Northeastern and Emerson, so maybe I"ll see you in the Fall.
  4. Hi, I actually attended BC for my MSW. They have a good clinical program as well as but if you are interested in macro studies go elsewhere. The classes for marco are limited. It is a great program and I would recommend it.
  5. This whole process is going to be stressfull. Remember to breathe and realize that things tend to happen the way they are suppose to. If you dont get in at first and you really want it, try again!
  6. Hi! First time posting. I was wondering if anyone accepted to Northeastern University has heard about funding/aid? I'm trying to decide between Emerson and Northeastern. Any advice?
