    Just go for it and ask him out!! If he rejects you, then he gets to spend the next few months kicking his butt for missing an awesome opportunity. And you'll get over it in like, a week. If he accepts, then it could be the start of a fabulous relationship :-). Better to ask him now, before you waste more time pursuing him, and before you come even more attached (ex. a rejection would be way worse if you ask in 6 months than if you ask now).
