Time to chop all my hair off again.

Successfully defended my thesis this past Monday with no edits required by my committee. Now I just need the graduate school's approval.

I find it absolutely asinine that I am required to take a statistics course taught and tested in a programming language that I will never ever use. I'd rather have a C in the class and use my free time to learn a useful skill.

I'll be presenting at my first international conference in 7 days. Holy bleep!

Seventeen days left before spring semester begins. Making the most of it.

Our youngest cat (2.5 years) is dying of FIP. Going to be so hard to go back to class Monday. I'm going to be afraid every night that I'll come home and she'll be gone, without us there to keep her company during her last hours. Oh, and I hit my head again while still not recovered from my previous concussion. Things are obviously not good right now.

I can't believe spring semester starts on Tuesday. Break was not nearly long enough. Not even close.

I'm drowning in reading. I figured taking 7 classes would be a challenge, but it is HARD to keep everything straight.

I'm so bored right now. My classes are easy and I can't start research because of field work timing constraints. I just want something to do.

Dealing with a stressed out dog after my move from the suburbs to the busy downtown coastal lifestyle . Help?
