Actually i m applyin fr masters structural engg. in UBC. bt one of my friends in US told me tht CANADA and its univ are technologically nt tht advance . he told me to go fr US. I dnt knw whethr to apply or not. sum1 pls clarify!!

GRE does boost ur chances indeed. Anyways if u r nt plannin to work ryt after ur masters then Europe is a safe option.

y GPA - 8.51(till 7th sem) TOEFL - 99. I am going to write my GRE by June. I just received an offer for MS in structures from Politecnico Di Milano Italy. I checked QS world ranking, its been ranked 18th for structures. But one of my friends is advising me to write GRE and go for USA. The only problem is by writing GRE nw I might be able to secure admission in FALL 2015. i ll be losing a year + i ll be losing politecnico + i have already secured a job which i have to give up. Kindly help me. shld i go for Polimi or USA?? I applied for hk univ bt chances are quite slim. they hv only 1 intake per year.

well as a matter of fact, u didnt hav to write GRE in the first place if u wanted to go to europe. u need to take TOEFL though. the important que is Do u plan to work in Europe? or u want to come back to Pak?
