hello, completing a statistics course would beneficial, some msw programs require you take statistics. Also a B+ average is the GPA you should have. i know for laurier msw they require you to have tons of hours like 3,000. I think at least 3,000 hours is good.

My dream is to be able to complete my msw. My first question is whether I should be completing a statistics course because it is not required for my bsw. Also what is a competitive GPA and how many hours of volunteer would you recommend?

If anyone has been or knows anything about being wait-listed at the Lakehead HBSW, I would love to hear about your experience. I am really curious as to when wait-listed people receive news of their status changing. Please feel free to message me!!

I would say St.Thomas is my first choice, and I've also applied to the two year MSW for Calgary, Toronto, and York. Which would be your first choice and where else did you apply?
St. Thomas is my first choice too!! i also applied to Calgary MSW, a masters of Counseling at UNBC and Lakehead Uni HBSW.So you would prefer to do the postgrad in social work than the masters?
Lakehead is down the list for me cause it starts this summer -.-
