Well this makes me feel a little bit better! I think the waiting and uncertainty are what is killing me! I feel like I have been literally checking the results page/my email like 100 times a day since the end of February haha 

I started this thread and just got off a waitlist today!!!!!! I am freaking out...never thought this day would come for me! Good luck everyone, it IS possible! 

I asked about this when I interviewed and it seemed like there’s basically no difference. Assuming you have to give a deposit/commit  by the 15th and probably wouldn’t get off the waitlist until after that, I’m not sure how that would work out. Everyone always says ranking doesn’t matter in terms of getting a job later. If it was me I would take the acceptance that I had. Good luck and congrats! 

What does a typical day look like? 

@rebeccank17 I would say go for it, if you have the money to do so. I had a GPA just slightly above yours, average GRE scores, and 4 years of relevant work experience. I retook two courses that I got C's in the first time. I retook them at ENMU online and got A's. I don't know if that is specifically what got me into 4 of the schools I applied to, but every bit helps! 

Lol update on my dumb life:
Yesterday I got a call from one of the faculty members at Arizona State and they offered me the PrISMS grant. I'd applied for it a few months ago but was originally denied. The grant pays for all of the out-of-state tuition, half the in-state tuition, and provides me a stipend. I also get to study Multiculturalism/Multilingualism, which is my DREAM! With how much money they're giving me for the grant I'll be able to pay for the program almost entirely out of pocket, so I decided to attend ASU! I am honestly still feeling shocked but incredibly excited and thankful!!!

I just got off the waitlist at one of my schools as well! So happy for this opportunity. Still waiting for one more!

I've been waitlisted at nine schools and finally got off of one last Friday! So it does happen!

I got accepted off of the wait list for the University of Arizona! This was my dream program! Good luck to you guys! 

I accepted my spot at Texas Woman's University TWU! I most likely have to start in summer. Anyone else going here or know much about the program? I think there are classes on both the Denton and Dallas campuses, so not really sure how that works. Any info is appreciated!

I just got off the waitlist at TWU! It is possible everyone! And I definitely emailed all of my waitlisted schools basically just asking for more info about it and confirming that I was still interested. The least they can do is tell you sorry no we can't give you more info until after April 15th.

Maryville University! I haven't heard back from any of the other waitlists though, so I'm not sure how things will end up but I am beyond relieved. I have been working in the field (ABA then SLPA) since undergrad and retook a few classes online (got a C in anatomy the first time around eek). Never give up if this is truly what you want!!
