I have hyperhydrosis (basically means I sweat like nobody's business) and these shirts absorb it all. Practically magic. I bought myself 7 (one for each day of the week) and they have never failed me. They're thin enough to wear under a dress shirt without being uncomfortable.

Just wanted to drop in and say good luck to everyone. With grad school in my rearview mirror, I can now appreciate this forum from a different perspective.

That's exactly how I feel haha. I just wish some of my programs would go ahead and reject me already - at least then I would have some finality and stop hoping.

This was my top choice school and I can’t believe I got in and got a fellowship!

I received an acceptance to a clinical psych PhD with full funding and a generous stipend guaranteed for 5 years - they sent the details in the mail within the week of being accepted.

So. I know Drexel interviews are like, two days from now.
And I know I am probably rejected with 99.999999% certainty (because duh, interviews in 2 days).
But some dumb part of my brain is still thinking, "Wait but what if they just messed up and they really meant to invite you?!?!?!"

I've been wearing a blouse and slacks. No suits for me. Most folks tend to wear suits. I'm just at a point in my life where I feel much more comfortable without, and would prefer a program that isn't going to ding me on something as silly as whether I wore a suit vs a blouse

PSA: As acceptances start to roll in, this is just a friendly reminder to everyone from someone with lots of contract experience, NEVER ACCEPT A POSITION UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR FUNDING PACKAGE IN WRITING (unless, of course, you are not expecting funding). Even if it is your top choice and you've been dying to go for the last 20 years... I cannot stress enough; get that s**t in writing.  

I haven't heard yet. The prof I contacted (2 weeks ago) told me we would hear back the first week of February (this week), so hopefully we'll know soon!!

Same, it’s such a weird feeling. Like you have this false sense of hope but at the same time the sadness and anxiety of knowing you’re most likely not going to have a chance (dunno if that holds true for you or not but I definitely sympathize).
