I'm really resonating with this statement. I've never hated something so much, yet loved it so much.

Feeling that way here, too. Hearing about the accomplishments of new recruits makes me think I got in by accident!

I agree. I do want to know how they came up with the first episode though. Some bloke sits down in a meeting and goes "I have a great idea for a plot!!"

@MarineBluePsy I'm with you on the morning exercise. Plus you feel outrageously productive when you're working out before the sun is up! And that feeling carries over through the rest of the day

A lot of people don't understand the pain of losing a pet. That isn't a small life thing. I'm sure your dog understand that you weren't able to be there. Take care of yourself.

You make a good point... I have grown a lot since I left them. I used to cry (literally) to them after a bad exam, but yesterday when they asked why I wasn't horribly depressed I just told them that if I fail out, I fail out, and I can still be happy even if that happens. They don't really understand - they think that being in academia is what every student should strive for, and they looked a little disappointed when I said that I don't think that's what I want. I have, in fact, grown to be my own person in the last few months, which I didn't realize until you pointed it out
