Four weeks since getting the acceptance email 

I understand what you’re saying but it’s kinda on the school to decide where they place their funding. UofT has the oldest MSW program in Ontario so it’s fair for them to have more established community connections. Waterloo is a good school though. A much newer MSW program but I completed my BSW there and enjoyed it.

Agreed. I wouldn’t call it “throwing money at”. It’s where they allocate their funding. Ryerson could do so as well, but they dont. 

For those who have been admitted to uoft, do we mail our acceptance of the offer to the faculty office? Or drop it off in person. It didn’t specify

I got into the advanced standing at UofT. I have just over 5000 hours of social service experience, another 1200 or so hours of placements, and I think 400 volunteer hours. My GPA was an A. I got an A+ in research methods. 

Last year I was informed that all the applicants who were accepted had an average between 78-88%. 
70% is just the cut off! 

York has me in a chokehold with their “no decision yet, currently under consideration” message that’s been up since November. Do I just not look at myfile until mid-April? ?

This waiting game is dreadful.

I think Carleton usually releases their acceptances later on in this week or next?
But it probably means what it says, that they are currently in the midst of reviewing your application.

Happy to hear about the program at Windsor!  Great that you have a plan   I was just wondering, are you in the position to take out a bank loan? If you don't already have a mortgage, and have a decent credit score, you may be apply to apply for loan's...?  My sister couldn't apply for OSAP because of income situations, but got a bank loan and co-signer too; may be able to have a family member co-sign it so you can get approved too.
