"Alternate" essentially means waitlisted for the award at that school. If other people decline their award offers (because they are going elsewhere), alternates may get an award offer. However, since you weren't admitted to the school you wouldn't be able to accept the award. The review processes for applications and CGSM funding are completely separate, so sometimes people are offered CGSM for school they were rejected from, which sucks.

It depends on the school, and where you rank in your POIs choices. I interviewed with Guelph and UVic last week and received offers from both this week immediately following the faculty admission meetings. However, I know sometimes UVic profs will take a week or two to make their first-round offers, and you may not hear back for longer if you are the second choice and the first-choice student hasn't responded to their offer yet.

UVic has sent out all the first round invites. They sometimes send out more invites later if they haven't filled all their spots, but it's unlikely. I got an interview invite from Guelph yesterday and it sounded like they were sending out all the invites at once. Hope that helps!

For some reason, the results board is not working for me right now so I figured I would just post here. I got an email today from my POI at OISE saying I've been shortlisted for the SCCP program and they would like to interview me next week. I also got another email today from the admissions coordinator at Guelph and have been invited to interview there as well. Feel free to message me if you want to know POIs!

I got my official invite from the grad secretary at UVic on Wednesday, I believe all invites went out now, interviews are Feb 7-9th

I had my preliminary interview with my UVic POI, apparently invites to the official interviews will go out around the second week of January (for the whole department). I've also been obsessively checking this results page: https://www.thegradcafe.com/survey/ Not much action yet for this year, but you can search by school and look back at previous years to get a sense of their timeline

Applying to UVic (Clinical Lifespan), SFU (Clinical General), Guelph, and OISE (SCCP and CCP)! So far have a skype interview scheduled with UVic! (which is a bit head-spinning given that I haven't even submitted Guelph yet)
