    UNC Epidemiology PhD does not interview, and they admit students on a rolling basis - that means over two or three months they are slowing sending out results. So if you still haven't heard back, don't be discouraged (although I completely understand the anxiety, I mean it's March already!?)

    Just got rejected from Michigan Epidemiology - especially disappointed because I was invited to the interview. Anywho, congrats to those got accepted and a pat on the back for ppl like me!

    I received my acceptance letter today too! Same as you, funding remains to be determined.

    The faculty just got their lists this week. The people at the top of their list will be invited over the next two week. I think everything has to be done by the end of the month so that the committee can get decisions out mid-feb.

    I agree with FrozenFreshMeat that UNC is a bit "non-traditional".
    I received my masters from Gilling's in another program and applied the doctoral Epi at UNC. My PI during my maters knows my POI very well so I contacted POI before and after my application and the POI emailed me back just now saying she hasn't received my application for review yet. I know there are few people reporting had interviews already and even got admitted to UNC Epi, but like I said some professors haven't even started reviewing so for those haven't heard back from UNC - don't panic yet.
