That still circles back to the same question. What do you see yourself doing in like 15 years? You need to think about what it is you ultimately want to do, not just what you want to do for the next 2-3 years. Either option is doable, so it's just a matter of which career you want more. Based on your questioning, it kind of seems that your focus is on what degree to pursue in the present (forgive me if I'm wrong). Thinking about what career will make you happier in the long run may make it easier to make your decision.

What kind of career is it that you want? If you want to do clinical practice, you would need a license-eligible degree. At the MA level, that would be an MA in mental health counseling, an MFT, or an MSW (in a few states you can get a license with a clinical psychology MA but that is the exception and not the norm). It may be difficult to find MA programs that have a path to licensure where you could do research within your chosen interest. It's probably easier to find faculty doing that type of research in psychology MA programs, but those are usually not license-eligible. If you go that second route, you want to think about your next steps and job prospects. Regardless of what degree you choose to pursue, you need to really think about it in terms of what kind of job would you like in the future and the credentials necessary to attain that type of job.

I think you're fine. Schools understand that typos in letters of recommendation aren't within your control.

Okay, so I stopped panicking about my Results chapter. My advisor sent me her comments for the first time today, I have changes to make, but it's an easy-fix she said. The document she sent me back did not have thousands of comments so it's doable. I can submit in three weeks and graduate on time.

Given the state of the legal job market, you may be better off in a history PhD program.

Is it possible to ask for an extension? I would phrase it something like, "I am thrilled by your offer and excited about your program. However, I also have an interview for another program in March, and I would like to make the most informed choice I can. Is it possible to extend the deadline?"

If you are applying to clinical psych, I would swap the purple blazer for black. The pop of color would come from the blouse. Clinical psych programs are typically far more conservative. If it's a different sub-speciality you may be able to get away with it.

As long as it is a professional dress. I would also still wear a blazer. Something like this is a good option.

Gray, black, and navy are all classic conservative suit colors, so you should be fine with a dark gray suit.

I would give them a call just to confirm. I would say call because you'll probably get an answer quicker than emailing. Just state that you confirmed on x date and heard no response so you just wanted to confirm before you book the flight.

It shouldn't reflect poorly. Staying may give you more information as an applicant and allow you to get valuable information about the program from a student perspective (there will probably be opportunities during the interview day, so this is additional).

That sounds like a good plan. They may be flooded with emails so it's sometimes hard to get yours to the top. If you have a specific POI, you may try emailing them as well if you really can't get anyone.

Some interview questions that have been posted in this thread as well as in Mitch's handbook are a good start. Make sure you have answers to these questions. Also, be familiar with your POI's recent work (read a few of the most current/most seminal of their work). And be prepared to talk about your own research: what you've done and what you hope to do. Lastly, remember to breathe. The programs decided you're great on paper, so they know you have some competency/skill. Just try to be confident. You belong there, even if the jerky voice in your head is giving you doubts.

You need to be honest. POIs are usually not interested in working with clones of themselves. I'm assuming your interests align with both of them, so just be open about what it is you hope to study and why you think each POI could serve as a good mentor for you. Reflect back on what you wrote in your SOP. I imagine you addressed this idea somehow in there about why you selected each POI. Also, connect your interests to their current projects. Is one doing work with the exact population you want to work with? Are they using a methodology you'd really like to learn? Etc. You made it to the interview round, so they liked what they saw on paper. Reflect on your application materials and build on them.

There's usually a new student orientation before the fall semester starts. Mine was about 2 weeks before the semester started.

I just have to contradict your negativity here. It's not "weird" or a fluke that you have 6 1st author conference posters/presentations and a year of TAing. It's awesome and shows how capable you are. Don't diminish your accomplishments. And if tons of people sung your praises and reviewed your materials, it's because they believe you belong in a graduate program.

First off, congratulations on your acceptance!! That is very exciting news and kudos to you
As a first round Canadian applicant, I don't have this issue (Canadian unis don't seem to have clashing interview weekends as much as the States cuz fewer schools/we do our interviews via phone or Skype it seems); that being said, I would notify those schools that you definitely do NOT want to attend, asap-- you can be honest "I have been accepted at another institution" or simply just "Thank you for the gracious interview invite, however I must decline....".  It seems the coordinators of grad schools are very kind and understanding, so if you're honest you got accepted to another program, they generally won't hold any bad blood and are more than happy for your acceptance.
Please, if possible, do this asap so your interview spot can be given to other, likely also stressed-out, applicants  Good luck!

I don't know of any specific programs, but a good way to find schools is to sometimes look at recent publications in your area of interest and see where those authors are based out of. Then you can look at those programs. This way you have a better chance of targeting professors in your direct research interests.

Even if funding is delayed, the school is still functioning. They should be able to reply to you. Can you call the admissions office? I know that's less feasible if you're applying as an international student.

Most schools have at least 2 dates. If school B extends an invite, then you can see what their options are for alternate dates. I agree with @ihatedis, prioritize the school you know you have an interview for.
