The last time this happened to me, I got an admit. I asked this to a professor, and he said it is probably something procedural, before they send out your acceptance. And thats what had happened as well.

I got an offer of admission from Berkeley just now! Came from the Chair of the admissions committee. First acceptance! Was having a terrible day up until now since I didn't get an email from Princeton, but it just turned around pretty rapidly....

I also got a Princeton acceptance email from a department admin on behalf of a faculty member, so I think they're sending them out as we speak.

I hope the rest of the week will not be as quiet as today... The wait is slowly killing me..

By the way, I heard from a friend who is there that UChicago is done with the admissions process. We should be hearing back next week
