[Is declining my only option crazy?]

I was in a similar situation last year but chose to accept my offer. For me, it felt like I would be leaving too much up to chance if I declined my only acceptance. Sure, I could've re-taken the GREs again and aimed for better scores, but I was uncertain if that alone will that be enough to get me accepted in a different school. Also, given that I'm a horrible test taker, getting a better GRE score was not a sure thing either. I live in a competitive NYC area where everyone's vying for spots, so even though the school that accepted me had a higher tuition, I chose to take their offer. The decision was hard though, but now that I'm a year into my program, I'm glad I went with something that was guaranteed. 

[NY - Classes for TSSLD Certification]

Hi guys! I'm currently in a grad program in NYC that does not offer classes required for the TSSLD. I want to be open to working in schools and thus have been looking up where I can take these education courses to qualify for the certification. From my research, I came across this website via the NYS Education Department which lists all the pathways that lead to getting the initial certification for the TSSLD: http://eservices.nysed.gov/teach/certhelp/CertRequirementHelp.do

I was surprised to find that the last pathway, titled "Pathway: NYS Professional License", does not require any grad level classes at all. It only requires an SLP license along with a few workshops to be completed.  

Is this accurate? I always heard that you need some specific education courses (both undergrad and grad) to qualify for the TSSLD. But of course if the requirements changed, that's infinitely better as I'd save some time and money from not having to take more courses. Would appreciate any info regarding this. Thanks!
