I'm a Chinese international student. My parents have bachelor's but they didn't consider pursuing a graduate degree. After completing my Bachelor's in University of Wisconsin, I decided to move further to a graduate program. Fortunately I have been accepted by Karalinska Institute, a very decent research institution in Europe. Thanks to all the inspirations I received from nice antecedents at UW. Really wish to come back to midwest after finishing graduate school.

I see there is very limited information out there for Scandinavian programs. I applied 6 (KI, Uppsala, Lund, Copenhagen, Eastern Finland, Helsinki) out those, hopefully we can share some updates of those.

For Europe: 3rd place in ranking, what does it mean?

I applied for a doctoral fellowship at a Norwegian university. One week after interviewing, I was told that I was placed at 3rd on the ranking. Do you know what does this mean? Is there some likelihood that both two in front of me all abandon their offer? I'm not sure how many people are there in the ranking list but obviously they only recruit one candidate.
