How can we get people to stop posting forum comments on the survey? There are sometimes 3 "results" that are just communications in between actual results the survey was meant for. It's making it harder for posterity to understand the results

At this point I’m more eagerly anticipating funding information for the schools I’m accepted to than decisions from the 3 schools I have left. It’s tough to start deciding where you want to go when you don’t know how the funding is going to vary

Same. I wouldn’t call it my dream school, but it was one I really thought was a good fit

I have two acceptances at top-20s so far and did not take a single math course in undergrad. Intro to stats from a cc in high school was it for me. A decent Quant GRE can definitely mitigate things if you have little formal training, and I think in that case the SoP and writing sample are very important.

Northwestern Rejects sounds like the name of a cover band from Portland

I got something just now. They're probably getting to them one by one.

The wait is starting to get me a bit.. I’m assuming Northwestern is a rejection at this point, but UCSD should hopefully be releasing decisions soon

I mean, I'm riding off of pretty poor methodology here, but if I had to bet money, it would be that there are very few if any left. Here's my thought process.
Ohio State, the other "top" school that has released decisions, has 10 acceptances this year, last year there were 12. It is known that Ohio State's admits are all out. Assuming static amounts of people accepted into the program, we can conclude that gradcafe is probably slightly less popular than it was last year.
The results page from last year has a count of 9 acceptances for Northwestern, and this year there are 5. Assuming that nothing has really changed (ie one school this year decided to become a lot more or less selective), the expected amount of acceptances on the results page is 7.5, which means it's very very plausible that there's little if anything left.
[edit: I had counted wrong and there are actually five this year and 9 last year, although that doesn't change the conclusions too much when we add more data. On my really rushed count, we have 6 in 2017, 8 in 2016, 6 in 2015, 7 in 2014, 10 in 2013, 5 in 2012. The substantive conclusion still is that it is very very unlikely that we'll see another full wave of acceptances.]
