Has anyone heard from Northwestern Feinberg for clinical psych? I know we are supposed to hear back by Feb 1st, but didn’t know if they had started extending invites! Feel free to PM me ?

Got an email followed by a phone call  from the director of my top choice program offering me admission! I am so excited!! Fingers crossed for my fellow waitlisters here. It is a stressful process! I am really grateful for this forum full of people who understand! 

Anyone still waiting and hoping to get off the waitlist for their top choice? Very nerve-wrecking since we're just shy of 1 week away from the deadline. Best of luck to everyone!

Has anyone heard form University of Nebraska Lincoln PI with initials DH? If you received the offer of acceptance from him please let me know so I can know where I stand, and congrats!

Just one person's opinion, but I really think it would be best to still go. I completely understand it is not somewhere you currently see yourself attending, and that you would rather give the spot to someone else. However, it is too late for them to replace your spot should you now decline. Also, it may be seen as disrespectful to the people and program who put so much time and effort into making interview weekend happen, especially the graduate student who offered to host you for the weekend. I would say it's best in this case to stick to the commitment you made and try to go and keep an open mind, as it is only fair to the program who kindly invited you among all the others they could have chosen to attend interview weekend.

Got an official rejection last night. *tears inna me eyes*

I got an acceptance today and cried. I'm going to grad school, y'all ? 
Sharing this process with all of you has definitely helped make this crazy application process a lot more bearable. Wishing acceptances on everyone!

My prospective mentor (LZ) and I had a Skype interview, and she told me she'd let me know if I had received an in person interview invitation sometimes this week. Their interview dates are feb 28th, March 1!

Has anyone heard from University of Notre Dame for Clinical Psych? I emailed a few weeks ago, and was told offers would be extended through February 1st. So there's still tomorrow, but I'm losing hope...

Same as everyone else waiting on Northwestern Feinberg, can anyone who was extended an invitation to interview PM me with the POI? It's my first choice and I haven't been hearing good news, so hopefully this might be the saving grace  ?

I got a St John's invite - it was generic, not PI specific. Two dates are Feb 25th and Feb 28th.

Just a heads up that I’m assuming Northwestern is closed right now due to the polar vortex! I’m in Michigan and we’re in a state of emergency from the cold temperatures.
