To the recent poster who got rejected at UNL, was this a mass email rejection? Sorry but thank you in advance! 

Can those who received interviews for UCSB share which concentration they applied to? I know that developmental went out, and saw a few counseling, but haven't seen anyone with a clinical concentration..here's hoping they aren't out yet!

Just got an email from UGA that all interview invites have gone out but I was put on an alternate list for interview, so at least it’s not a flat out rejection!

@davidfreire20 @PsychGal @buckeyepsych @ktwalsh I @'d people who commented on UNC in the past few pages... they are my (tentative) top choice so I bit the bullet and called Monday. Social division said to expect interview invites within a week if it's good news. Obviously not the same as clinical but I doubt the different sectors of UNC psych are on too very dramatically different time frames. I think I posted this already in the Social-specific psych PhD thread but thought I'd say so here, as well. Good luck to all, friends!

I work for a clinical psych professor at University of Nebraska (thought I'm not a grad student there), and he told me that the department wouldn't be sending out notifications until at least Jan 3-4th when we get back from break. Hopefully this puts some people at ease if you haven't heard back from them yet!

I didn’t get an interview invite or a rejection email my portal still says decion pending, should I stay a little hopeful ?

For those that heard from U of Alabama (Tuscaloosa), who was your PI and do you know if they offered all of there in-person interviews or if they were just conducting some preliminary phone interviews for certain PIs?  Thanks!

Someone applying to counseling PhD heard back according to results page

I didn't apply there, but it's safe to say when the DCT/Program coordinator sends out mass e-mails, they've completed their review for initial in-person invites. 
 Sorry, this whole process f*^&cking sucks. I've been there before!

Anyone else freaking out that they could know about interviews anytime this week or next? Don't mind me just excessively checking my email...

I had this happen with a form that I sent to my rec letter writers months in advance and they did not submit them on time and the admission told me that exact thing. Basically had a breakdown about it today, thinking my app may not be reviewed. Lots of tears but in the end just have to have faith it will all work out the way it is supposed to, even if you did all you could. Keep your head up!

I was minding my own business working on my laptop when an e-mail about an application status update came up, and I had a mini heart attack thinking the program rejected me so quickly... Turns out the "update" was that my application is now under review. I think I'm going to log off my e-mail ?

I'm so glad the application process is done...so I can properly stress about getting an interview. Hooray! ?

I just obsessively checked old grad cafe results to see when my programs typically send out interview offers: last year one sent them out December 3rd and one sent them out December 5th! ah! This is going to be a stressful week!

Hi everyone! Long time reader, first time poster. I called UNC at Chapel Hill's Clinical Psych department to see if I could get a confirmation that my GRE scores were sent since the applicant portal showed me they were incomplete (despite what ETS shows me online). The graduate admissions coordinator reassured me that it was fine if the score comes through after the Dec. 1st deadline! She told me not to worry!  She said with a high volume of applicants at the moment it will take the system a while before it goes through. Hope that helps anyone who is also applying to UNC

Has anyone else heard from the University of Georgia? If so would you mind sharing your POI? Just over here freaking out that mine has already contacted people and it must be a rejection. Yes I know that sounds irrational but here we are, anxiety at level 10! lol

I can't decide if I'm thrilled or terrified to have discovered this... Thanks!

If you go to results search and search "clinical psychology" it will show up! if you haven't discovered this part of grad cafe, its a dangerous place let me tell ya
