Hey guys! Just a bit of info for those still on the waitlist for Western:
Janet emailed those who accepted their offers today saying that we will be getting more info about the program/what we need to do beginning-mid June, after the movement on the waitlist has stopped!
Basically, there is still hope!! Those on the waitlist are still being contacted, so don't give up all hope! I BELIEVE IN YOU!

For anyone who has applied in previous years and was waitlisted:
If haven’t heard anything from Western yet about being accepted off the waitlist, what are my chances of receiving that call?
I’m starting to get discouraged, especially because it seems like so many people on this forum are rejected their offers to Western. I know they technically can call you throughout the summer, since people might pull their offer at the last minute, etc., but how do you deal with the waiting!?

I don't blame you!! I'm on the waitlist too so I'm now in full-blown freak-out mode!! fingers crossed they call...

Received a call from Toronto this morning saying I've been accepted off the waitlist! I will be declining their offer to attend U of A (but for some reason I'm still very excited)  

Thank you!! No I didn't get a chance to ask because I was too excited! If it helps, they told me that the offer will go up on Friday to ORPAS, and then I'll have 5 days to accept the offer on there.

I just received a call from Western for an offer which I accepted! I'm so happy!

I'm not 100% if I'm remembering this right, but I think I saw in past forums before that if you call Western they at least tell you a rough estimate of your position on the waitlist (i.e. top, middle, or bottom 1/3), so it may not hurt to give them a call to see. That being said, it seems like a fair amount of people have declined spots at Western for other schools so you do still have a chance!! Best of luck! ?
 

I was accepted to Western, it honestly hasn't even hit me yet! I was completely convinced I wasn't getting in, for those waitlisted there is still hope! Got my acceptance this afternoon as well for Dal! Congrats!! Do you know anything about potential funding? I didn’t apply for the thesis option so I don’t know if there’s any funding allocated for non-thesis students.
