In a perfect world...

What does everyone think about including the POI initials in the notes section of the results page, so that individuals do not have to request them?

If the Clinical Psych person who posted about USC sees this, can you send me your POI initials?

I wouldn't pay too much attention to rankings but would pay more attention to student outcome data. Aside from that, just doing a quick cursory view at the institutions those at my current undergrad institution went to, theres an even mix of schools that aren't in the top 10 but are faculty so I wouldn't necessarily let ranking dictate where you want to go.

I think if its a video interview, it's better to dress up than dress down. I would still were the blazer and blouse and pants to show that you're serious and professional.

Just had my first phone interview! Some POIs are such nice people! makes me less nervous for any other schools that contact me. 

I think that is how the majority of applicants are. Try your best to keep yourself distracted with things you enjoy doing (easier said than done, unfortunately). I noticed that over the holidays when I was with my nieces and nephews I rarely had the urge to check my email or to check GradCafe! My fiance and I are also in the process of planning a trip for April and our honeymoon for January 2020 so that helps to distract me too. My problem is when I am at work all day I have unlimited time to refresh my email and GC because I generally have nothing else that I really want to be doing while at work! ??

Just finished finals can now dedicate my time to really refreshing my email every 5 min and checking gradcafe

I know that official invites have not yet been sent out (to my knowledge, sorry just an undergrad lol- these things aren't always discussed in the open). Here is my best guess (based on current grad students and what I've heard): Most are aiming for January 9th-10th to send official interview invites. Classes begin January 9th, a Wednesday. Clinical faculty also meets on Wednesdays so I imagine the interview invites would be sent either that day or the next.

Hi! I'm an undergraduate in the psychology and neuroscience department at UNC Chapel Hill. I am very close to many of the professors and the department is like a second home, let me know if I can help in any way! I'm applying to clinical psychology programs as well (not UNC, the PI I would like isn't accepting)!

has anyone heard from Indiana University Bloomington, Boston University, university of Notre Damn, university of Colorado Boulder, university of Michigan ann arbor, university of Maryland college park, or University of Houston? 

Anyone have any experience with UNL and the "under review" vs "reviewed pending final decision of Graduate chair" debacle?
