That’s not how the clinical psych world works. There are more competitive applicants than there are spots, so a lot of it is luck. Social capital also comes into play, so check your privilege. I received this email as well. I asked the person who sent it what masters program they were referring to, because a masters doesn’t exist in clinical psych and there is not doctoral track in their only masters program. He said it’s for students who are admissible to the PhD program, but don’t have their master’s yet. He said that you go directly into the doctoral program after the masters is complete. In other words, referring to the non-terminal masters that you pick up along the way to a PhD.
I think this may be good news, in which case I will be an incredibly happy person!!!

I did! Sorry, I'm just now seeing this post. I wasn't offered interviews so I had essentially given up and stopped looking.

Does anyone know if invites have all been sent out for Fordham's Counseling Phd program? I only saw one person post on the results page that they received an invite directly from their POI. 
I spoke to admissions a week ago and they said that faculty had only just begin to review and would take another 2-3 weeks to extend invitations. 
Any information/confirmation would be appreciated.

To whoever posted their rejection for UNC from a mass email....I didn't even get the rejection notice from them ?  I'll take any form of acknowledgement at this point! 

Spam calls are the absolute WORST. There are just so many ways to torture aspiring grad students...

Yes, people should hear from POIs this week but this may not be the case for everyone.  Formal invites will be sent to everyone next week so just hold out for a week if you don't hear anything by Friday.

I figured they had but I contacted admissions last week...they told me a decision has not been made on my application but they're currently reviewing it. Assume that means they've sent out a first wave of invites and are holding off in case ?‍♀️

Anyone still waiting to hear back from UNC Greensboro who received that info session email this morning saying "Join us February 4th!" How deceiving! ?

I'm also waiting to hear. I emailed the coordinator and was told that all first round offers will be completed by February 1st. I didn't know they were only doing Skype interviews, but there's still two weeks to hear something! Fingers crossed!!

Has anyone heard from Notre Dame for Clinical Psych PhD? I know one person posted and mentioned they were doing only Skype interviews this year. Does anyone else have more info?

Applied to UMass Boston experimental program, but name differences definitely make this confusing lol

There have been exactly three postings for UMass Boston, only two of which were for psych programs. They were both for school psychology. I think you must be confusing this with Boston University. Careful what you’re putting out there?
Im waiting on UMKC for clinical as well, and haven’t seen anything.
