Some people have said that they'd hear back by the end of the day tomorrow. I talked to their admissions office today and they told me I'd hear by the end of the month (next Friday). So, who really knows...

If you have any more insight let me know! I'm still having a tough time deciding. After speaking to my previous advisors,  I am leaning more towards Rutgers, because it does have good name value as well as interesting certificate programs and less loans. Although, it is hard for me to give up the idea of NYU. I'm trying to make the right decision for me, and any advice or information you come across will be helpful. I'm reading on this site about some people who gave up Ivy league schools for Rutgers, because the acceptance rate for MSW is relatively high and later salary isn't great.

It sounds like you are in the two-year program then? If so, I received an equivalent amount for one-year advanced standing. I went through old forums on here and I only saw offers of $2,000 and $4,000 in the past so I don't think there is any wiggle room. However, I know if you get an offer from another school you can send them a copy of the award and they can see about bumping it up.

I got into Rutgers NB today, but they want an admissions decision in 2 weeks. Any advice on how to ask for an extension?

I also received an offer for an interview at CSUN today

I just got admitted to USC this afternoon, they want my decision by February 12th. They're part of the April 15th resolution so I'll look into that too, that's a quick turnaround.

I was accepted into UPenn this morning! I interviewed on Wednesday, so a really quick turnaround!
Interviewed: Bryn Mawr (Told I would hear back within a week, so next wednesday)
Still waiting on: Boston U, Rutgers NB, NYU
