I got into Cornell!!!

So I didn’t understand what type of beast I was tackling by applying to PhD programs. I only applied to 3 and presumed rejection for all after February 1st. Today I got an email notifying me of my first interview! I received an acceptance for a masters program and had decided it was my only option (a great option but still). There’s a little glimmer of hope now! I’m still waiting on the other two rejections though lol

USC really has me confused this year. I’ve only seen 2 interview postings

I emailed my POI from the interview I had last week at UN-Lincoln. She responded and apologized for the delay and cited the polar vortex-- but she said I am IN!! This is my first acceptance and I am over the moon!

Definitely feels that way, especially when I keep refreshing the results page every few minutes. But some are still extending! Every time I think one of my programs is finished, it looks like someone new heard something. Don't lose hope unless you know for sure.
Hahahaha I understand that feeling. I saw people posting about Fairleigh Dickinson last week and even though it likely signaled bad news for me, I hoped I would still hear something. "Maybe the interviews go out in waves," I told myself. Getting the actual rejection yesterday was sad, but provided the closure I needed to let it go.  I wish all schools could let you know that quickly.

I think so. I called all my programs yesterday to ask if interview requests had gone out (they had) and they were all pretty chill about it. Although just to warn you - for me, it doesn't really feel like closure until that rejection email hits your inbox.

I know they are different programs, but I applied to GaTech for I/O Psych and also haven't heard anything yet! 

I applied to experimental psych at South Carolina and GaTech cognition and brain sciences and have heard back from neither

i have not heard anything at all from USC but I will share with you one little link that I randomly found wednesday--buried within USC's website. Hi, I reached out to the clinical community program at U of SC yesterday and they said all invites had been extended

Hey! I’m waiting on GaTech (Cognition and Brain Science) and The University of South Carolina (Clinical-Community). I haven’t heard anything and my portals still say pending or under review. Have the programs already sent out interview invites? I know I have pretty terrible GRE scores so I’m really reaching lol.
