Accidentally posted this in the poli sci forum, but I'm curious how much of a dealbreaker the 3.75 (for history, english studies) and 3.8 (for theology) is for graduate acceptance. If you have a degree from a top Ivy League plus strong letters and relevant extracurriculars, how important is it to meet that stated GPA threshold if it's .02 or so under? Has anyone on this site gotten in or heard of people getting into humanities MPhils at Oxbridge with lower GPAs? Thanks.
