For those on waitlist: I got a score of 13.80/20 and received offer of SSHRC-Doctoral Fellowship. I'm in Committee 4.

UPDATE: I got no interviews from any of the schools I applied to, and got rejected from 4/5 of them (officially). I don't understand what went wrong, but I suspect that it was my SOP. Looking into master's degrees in Europe now while trying not to cry.

When I was reaching out to POIs a number of months ago, this is what one of them said, "Typically, students work on projects related to data we have already collected or partners we are already working with; this is primarily for logistical reasons so that students can get through the program on time." As such, you may be doing someone else's research at OISE, so just a heads up if you do get an acceptance...

PhD applicant here. I am currently completing my MA at a CPA accredited institution, but I am planning to pursue my PhD at UWO. Just wondering if you know when i should be expecting to hear back and whether UWO considers external applicants for PhD (and the likelihood)?
