I can confirm that this is 100% true. It's the WORST way to do us, especially during these times. When this is all over and I find out my status, I am going to complain. How does every other uni send out waitlist letters? WE ARE GETTING YORK'D Y'ALL

I applied to the 1 year program and it still says no decision, under consideration. Trying not to refresh to much, but I jus want to fast forward to when I know!

Got this from york:
Although York University classes are online and buildings are closing, the university will stay open and the admission process will continue as normal. Please use York University website which will provide the most recent information moving forward.
In general the applicants are notified late March and into April. I would encourage you to keep checking your MyFile account for any updates. The process will conclude at the end of May. Any applicant who was not accepted can reach out to the school or department to receive some feedback on why it may not have been accepted.

I am currently doing my BSW at York and I spoke to the Graduate Program Assistant. She told me that decisions will be sent out mid-March.
As for Ryerson, I applied as well and I am able to access RAMSS

I just got invited to U of T’s MSW as well!! I’m actually shocked! Congrats to everyone who was accepted so far!
To those still waiting, if you get in this year, that’s incredible! If not, a waitlist or rejection does not reflect your ability to be a great social worker, or your worth as a person. Last year I was waitlisted by U of T, you can still get your MSW, it may just take some time. ❤️
