I emailed SYK personally because I was tired of waiting for the graduate coordinator and she got back to me in less than 5 minutes. She said that I wasn't offered a spot and that was that. What I don't understand is why the graduate coordinator was dragging it out for so long and not just being direct with me. I was upset for a bit but I am going to school where I can still achieve my research goals, so it all worked out at the end!

I emailed the graduate coordinator around end of Feb to check the application status and got response saying that I was not offered admission. POI is SYK.

@jessmarmo I applied to ASU as well, yet to hear anything from them! :(((( (I'm an intl applicant). I too have been looking for fellow HDFS applicants. This is great. 

I have applied to both masters and PhD programs. The two PhD programs I applied for were UT Austin and Arizona State University. I got waitlisted at ASU and someone from UT Austin said I should hear about decisions around New Years.
