  1. In state tuition is about $10,000 per semester - around $40000 in total. I think health insurance adds about 3000 per semester? Housing is not cheap either - off campus housing usually starts around $900 for a shared room. If you wanted to split a 2 bedroom apartment you'd be paying like $1500 or more monthly.
  2. I was also rejected from CSUEB last year - I ultimately went to Berkeley!
  3. I'm attending a different social work program in CA and was drug tested for my placement. I am working in a medical setting which I believe is more standard to require drug testing. Your placement should make this clear to you if you are assigned that they plan to drug test.
  4. I eventually heard back and was denied. But I accepted admission at my top school which I'm still in disbelief over being accepted to!
  5. Has anyone heard back from CSU East Bay? I feel like they're ghosting me. I've heard no updates!
  6. Congrats though!!!! Such a wild feeling to know your in!
  7. Did your acceptance state what concentration you are in? I didn't see that listed on my letter.
  8. I applied for Advancing Health and Wellbeing Across the Lifespan. In my acceptance I didn't actually see the concentration mentioned but I'm assuming that is what I was accepted for?
  9. No I didn't. I'm totally in disbelief I got in.. I was not expecting to!!
  10. I got into Berkeley!!!! Just got an email around 7:15.
  11. Hi all, Anyone here applying to Cal State East Bay - Hayward? I'm having a hard time figuring out whether the STAT and Human Bio/Anatomy prerequisite requirement still stands for Fall 2021 admits. I found a recent document that says there are NO prerequisites for Fall 2021, yet other sources indicate this requirement has been in place for all previous admit cycles. Anyone else applying who may know? Thank you So much!
  12. Are you including work experience unrelated to social work (i.e. food service, retail, etc.)? If I am applying to programs that ask for work experience and a separate resume, should I include this type of non related experience on either of these?
