Thanks! I got into the CCIB program at Rutgers Camden. It was totally unexpected, and I feel so grateful and blessed to get the opportunity. I was starting to get antsy before cuz IBMG was my only chance. How about you? What other offers did you get?

Oh it’s good you heard back! I imagine a lot of people are emailing them so they’re not responding to everyone yet. Fingers crossed that everything plays out this coming week! I really didn’t think we’d be getting decisions in March for an interview early in Jan... I hope all of us hear good news!

That’s what I want to know too! I haven’t heard back either. I emailed them on Tuesday to ask for an update, but they haven’t replied back to me yet ? it’s really weird...

I interviewed for IBMG, and they sent an email last week to give an update that they’ll start sending offers by end of this week, so fingers crossed!

The waiting can really be a torture! Hope you hear back soon from your programs.
It’s alright! The rejection hurt when I first got it but I got over it, especially since it wasn’t my first choice anyway. I just finished an interview for a program a few days ago and I’m praying that one works out. And thanks! Hope you get into your program of choice!

I was also hoping for Harvard BBS, but I didn't get an invite either. Just wanted to tell everyone to cheer up! Already 9 out of 15 programs that I applied to have sent out invites while I haven't receive any. I got an interview invite from 1 so far and I'm so grateful. At this point, because it's so competitive, I hope everyone gets at least one invite! Let's all work hard to get through this! Hoping that we'll all get an offer in the end  

Thank you! And yes exactly! It’s just one that we need and we’ll make it! I’m so sorry for your rejection, but I believe it’s a pretty competitive program so don’t beat yourself up too much over it. You’re awesome and I’m sure you have strong stats! You’ll get through this! Let’s all cheer each other on and stay positive! I heard that people still get invitations in January too so we shouldn’t despair yet  

Yep I haven’t heard from them either. I don’t think Harvard has sent out any invites yet because the results page would have been flooded otherwise. Probably some people trolling on the results page about getting invites so let’s hang in there!

I heard that program is amazing! I applied to Immunology, Microbiology, and Virology, and I haven’t reached out to any PIs tbh. Mainly it’s because it’s not my top top choice, so I won’t be too hurt if I don’t get an acceptance. I didn’t know that they’re accepting less students though! COVID’s impact is pretty bad at this point. I think you’ll be fine as long as you’ve reached out and matched the qualifications that their students have. 
I’ll give you a trick that I always use. As long as you verbally wish something into existence, like “I’m going to get into Rochester” or “I will go to Rochester”, then your likelihood of getting there is higher. There’s just something about calling it into existence that makes it work. Just keep saying it, and have faith! You’ll get in for sure!
I kinda did that with my top second choice uni, and the night before I got the invite for the interview, I dreamt about getting the interview. Pretty creepy but miraculous. Stay hopeful!! You’ll definitely get in!

Same here!! I keep thinking about the BBS program all day and all night ? I’m so passionate about the program and the research there that I’m praying my SOP reflects my enthusiasm. I’m banking on Harvard’s ability to see potential and take a risk on some people rather than other unis’ hardline qualifications. That’s why I didn’t apply to too many top tier unis anyway.
I really hope all of our dreams come true! And yeah I’ll keep you updated for sure! I do know that Harvard’s decisions come in late next week or early the week after so I shouldn't be checking my inbox all the time ? I’m honestly praying for a miracle.
