Im still waiting on NYU and Sinai and I'm going to go insane lol

All the interview invitations from Vandy's Neuroscience Graduate Program (NGP) have been sent out?

Duke Neurobiology is admitting 1/3rd the number of students this year (less than 10) compared to last year but got 2.5 times as many applications (230 this year versus around 90 last year). Unless your POI is on the admissions committee, chances are slim this year in all of the Duke Biomedical PhD programs as well as the Biology PhD program, even if you have a 4.0 or close to 4.0 GPA and decent research experience.
Thanks for the information!
I'm an international applicant with a MS in the US. 3 pubs and 2 are in preparation. Had a good talk with my POI who serves on the admission committee. Sooo sad I could not get an inview invite. I used to think there would be less applications this year but clearly I was wrong.

Anyone got the inside scoop on Vandy Neuro? Think they’re done sending invites out? #desperate ?✌?
I think Vandy NGP sends their invites on a rolling basis as well as IGP.

I just got an email from WashU (DBBS - Neuro) offering me an interview so there are probably more invites to come!
Congratulations!
Is the email from your POI or graduate coordinator? So anxious now.
-
Is WashU starting to send their invites? I saw one post in the result page.
-
I used to think today would be a big invite day. Maybe I was wrong. Let's see what will happen this afternoon.

Hi, I applied to Icahn Neuroscience. Haven't heard anything yet.
I applied to Icahn Neuro last year and got rejected. Good luck with your application!
What other neuro programs did you apply? I applied to Duke-Neuro, WashU-DBBS Neuro, Brandeis-Neuro, Max Planck Florida, Upenn-NGG and Vandy Neuro, hoping to get into one.
-
I guess a lot of univeristies would send their interview invites this Friday or next Monday.

Anyone else qpplied to Icahn Biomed?

I applied to 10 programs:
Vanderbilt University, UT Southwestern, Baylor College of Medicine, Duke University, UNC Chapel Hill, WashU St. Louis, UWash Seattle, URochester, UMass and UPenn.
So far, I've received an interview invite from Vandy. Im unsure if others have sent any out.
For background, Im an international student with a degree from a US institution, high GPA, 2yrs undergrad research experience. Applied last year and didnt get in, took a gap year and currently doing full-time research. No publications yet.
Anyone heard from any of these schools? Thanks
Congratulations! Which track did you apply to the Vandy? When did you submit your applcation? Thanks!

Did you receive a secondary application from UT Southwestern? I saw a few people in the results section reported receiving one.
I think that's only for international applicants.
