I just got accepted to UofT's 2 year program (initials A.K.) and I'm currently crying at work!!! I got the e-mail at 8:27 and I got SO anxious because all it says is "A decision as been made", so I called my best friend while SHAKING and I immediately started crying when I saw the acceptance!
I'm a long time lurker and I honestly wasn't too hopeful as I was applying for the first time but I am OVER THE MOON! I'm also waiting to hear back from York and Laurier. I'm sending you all good vibes and hoping you guys hear back with good news very soon ?!
I was also wondering if anyone knows how much the yearly tuition for MSW is at UofT? I'm not able to find anything recent that specifies

This might sound stupid, but to test my theory, could whoever applied to U of T like this comment?
I know that there are probably some people who applied to U of T that aren't on here but this might just give us a ballpark?

I got my acceptance email at 4:15 from u of T, my last name initial is E!!

I totally understand the anxiety and impatience, but blaming the staff for not working overtime isn't fair. For all we know, they already are. We should all know, understand, and respect the importance of having boundaries between home and work-- not to mention the ways that staff in academic settings are already often overworked and underpaid. They're people going through a pandemic, too.

As decisions roll out, please be mindful of your thinking patterns. It can be so easy to tie all of your worth to a decision that is now out of your control, so please remember to practice self care. Your worth is not defined by this decision. Each and every one of y'all in this forum will become outstanding professionals in the field regardless of what decision you receive in the coming days/weeks. Please take care of yourselves. ❤️
