Hello everyone! So exciting everyone is hearing back! Contributing to everyone saying where they applied and got accepted. I applied to the advanced standing at Carleton, Waterloo, Western, York, TMU, and Toronto. I got waitlisted at Waterloo, rejected from Carleton, and ACCEPTED at Toronto for the Children and their Families stream. I am thrilled and going to be accepted that offer. Toronto was my top pick so i truly don’t care what the other 3 schools say now! Wish everyone the best of luck! If this is your first year applying to give up applying again, this is my third year applying to school and I have 15,000 hours of experience and a 94 average in my BSW. Keep updating your resume, get a lot of people to proof read your letters, and really really really consider your reference options. You all got this!

I feel this deeply. I’m with you in the same boat, once you get waitlisted it seems hopeless but i know it’s not. I hope you and I both get it so we don’t have to do round three.

Yeah for sure! I applied to 5 schools and I have already been accepted to UW BSW program for September so I have something to do, but the application process is stressful and so much to keep up with. I’m hoping something happens with the MSW soon ?

I think a lot of us who applied to UofT are loosing a lot of hope in our applications. This is my second time applying after being wait listed last year and I am just getting sad and hopeless at this point. You think your applications is so good until this point when you start questioning everything.

I was also waitlisted. Second year in a row being waitlisted. Hopefully some of us come off of it this year.

Hi! Yes, last year I was admitted on conditional BSW at waterloo for this coming September so i’m already in the program. But I applied to MSW programs this year so just waiting

Hiii I have no clue i try not to look at the application sites, only once every week or so cause i stress myself out! I looked a couple weeks ago and it said review in progress but i didn’t see a change from there

Hiii I heard back from Carleton! I got waitlisted and the email says only 12 people are on waitlist! Hope everyone hears soon

Hey! Do not know if anyone has said anything but my Carleton application status changed to "recommended for assessment" so the department is now reviewing it. I am not sure when this changed because I try to only check my applications once every week or two until mid february.

Hey! I know its last minute, but when I submit my application a while ago, I prepared my questions in a seperate document and then changed the font size in that word document and copy and pasted it into the pdf they provided and it worked just fine. I know its late but just in case someone is having the same problem and are getting down to crunch time

Hey! i found out that once you submit your documents youll see a sentence above where the documents are submitted that says all documents are complete. A person in the MSW admissions office said that once its all in you have nothing else to do! They have the documents and youre good to go. No formal button

Hey! I finished all my documentation as well! Am i blind or is there no "submit" button like there is for others schools? I did this last year and their old system had a submit button!

hey! I am applying to the 2 year MSW programs at UofT, Carleton, York, Western, and Laurier. I am already accepted into the Waterloo BSW program for 2022 start, but thought i would try my luck. Last year I applied to all of these school MSW programs and got waitlisted for all so i’m trying again as I have a ton more experience (got a new job and a promotion at my second job) completed a graduate certificate and started volunteering for 2 organizations this past year. I am also doing post degree social work courses right now which are the foundation for all BSW programs. Fingers crossed not as many people apply this year, last year was chaos! Good Luck everyone!

Hey yall, Congrats to everyone! I am also waiting on MSW applications. I was waitlisted at Western, and accepted to the BSW 10 month program at Waterloo. Currently waiting for UofT, York, Laurentian, and Laurier. I havent seen anyone who has applied to Laurentian... is there anyone on here? I have lost hope in UofT with everyone else getting acceptances its so stressful! Good Luck Everyone!
