If you decline after the deadline, do students on the waitlist still get offered spots? I know the deadline for U of L was a while ago so I'm unsure how U of L approaches this. Perhaps you lose your deposit and that's it?
Also - I saw you're headed to U of C now! I'm going to the M.Sc in Counselling Psych program there, see you around hahaha

Just wanted to let people know that I originally accepted my U of L offer but recently declined it. I got off the waitlist for my number one choice! So, there should be a spot that opened for U ofL.

For sure! It was the MSc in School and Applied Child Psyc program at U of C because I wouldn't have to move.

I'm also listed as an alternate for U of C and U of L!

U of A course based has gotten back to me and they said the same thing.

Ouch... I wonder if that's the same for the Counselling Psych thesis-based program? I don't wanna email hahaha I'm too scared

I had the same problem so I waited one week before my deadline for U of L and accepted because I didn't want to lose my spot. However, if I get into my waitlisted spot I will email them to let them know I have to reject the offer.

Haven't seen many West coaster's posting- but i received my acceptance to UVIC MA in counselling psych yesterday  

same here. im wondering if i should email them, but i feel like im going to get the generic “theres nothing you need to do on your part” email ? im getting so impatient and worrieddd

U of A's rollout is so weird!! And yet nobody has heard anything about thesis-based acceptances??

U of C MSc in SACP acceptances and waitlists went out yesterday I think? I'm in the program now, and cohort students were talking about some people they know getting their emails. Last year the MEd program was after the MSc - not long after, but definitely not the same day either. Good luck!

I just got an offer for the MSc in Counselling Psych at U of C. Unsure if I will accept the offer as I am waiting to hear from another program so if you are put on the waitlist, there is a chance my spot may open up within the next few weeks!

Results for U of L admissions went out this morning I believe. Congrats to those that got in!
