All the letters that were in my images for the informed delivery email did show up today and there were also medium sized envelopes. So, I wouldn't be surprised if SSHRC letters would show up in these images. Fingers crossed for tomorrow...

Good luck to you both in UK. This is my 3rd time applying lol. Rejected the first time, waitlisted the second time. Given this trend, hoping that for my third time I will move up to being successful. If not...well so be it.

Canadian schools probably have the results.

The evaluation process definitely is a mystery. This is my third time applying as a direct applicant. I was forwarded in both of my previous attempts but was not chosen in the final review process. Hoping third time is a charm.

In my experience at a relatively big school (Carleton) someone in the Department or, more likely, the grad school office knows the list of the university's winners right before results are sent out (or the day of). I found out from the FGPA's finance official before I received official word from SSHRC.
 
That being said, it may not be a good strategy to annoy your grad school awards administrator. However, it's not like an email is going to ruin your chances for the award. I would probably wait until someone on here posts that their admin told them about the award and then send an email yourself.
 
..We are grad students. We are supposed to be annoying.

It is the month of April! Last year there was an unexpected delay. Hopefully they are on schedule this year and will let us know sooner than later.

I guess I'm answering my own question  Letter arrived today, forwarded to the national competition. I'm located in Mid-Atlantic.
