Interdisciplinary PhD programs in environmental studies
tuliula posted a question in Questions and Answers
Hi all! I'm looking for PhD programs in environmental studies with an interdisciplinary approach - ideally, a program that'll be supportive of combining environmental studies with perspectives and methodologies such as anthropology, queer studies, postcolonialism and/or animal studies. Got any leads? I've heard of a few programs that might do that: The Institute for the Environment & Sustainability at UCLA The E-IPER (Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources) at Stanford The Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society at- 1 reply

Hi guys, I am looking for some advice about applying to PhD programs. I don't want to go to schools simply because of their reputation or name, I really want to apply to places that will be the best fit for me and my studies. I am interested in Early Modern literature, Animal Studies, and the Early Modern drama (specifically the politics of the stage). Does anyone have any ideas about what programs would best suit that?
