  1. Hello! Do you have apartment insurance? If so, what company are you using? Thanks!
  2. Hi there! I just officially accepted my offer to West Virginia University for Audiology starting Fall 2017! I have started the apartments search for a place to live. Is anyone else searching for a place close to Allen Hall and have any advice, or need a roommate to live with??
  3. I have just been accepted to the University of Edinburgh (MSc- Environment Culture and Society) and deferred until Fall 2018. I was just wondering if anyone out there has lived in Edinburgh and knows a bit about the cost of living (monthly rent of a flat/university housing), bills, groceries, etc. I have checked Edinburgh's website, however they do not offer much in the way of the actual cost of student housing, just the fact that it is available. My wife and I will be heading over next august and just want to get an idea of how much things typically cost over there (we are from North Carolina) Thanks!
  4. Some schools I've been looking into will have specific dorm halls set for only graduate students, whereas others don't specify. The dorms seem very expensive, but I don't know how I would like being completely on my own in my own apartment. Plus, for those schools where there are not separate graduate dorms, I don't know if I'm going to like all the drinking, partying, smoking, etc. that I assume undergraduates do in the dorms (I could be wrong about this, but I'm just basing what goes on in the dorms based off stories I've heard at my current school). Also, there's also the pet issue. I have a cat that I'm definitely taking with me when I go to school, whether it's allowed or not. I think I'd like the (possible) companionship of a roommate in a dorm, but they might seem like m ore trouble than they're worth.
