    Blogging 2016

Hey Folks, Any of you interested in blogging your admissions journey? Reply here if so! -bgk
  2. Hey All, We will be opening up user blogging once again with the hopes of creating consistent content around: 1) The application process (how-to's, tips, dealing with stress, etc.) 2) Topics while attending (life in grad school) 3) Life after school (if I had to do it all over again, finding work, etc.) 4) Program specific (if you feel strongly about a program and have a lot to share) If you are interested, please respond with a topic of choice and I'll PM you with more details! For those who aren't aware of the blog ---> https://forum.thegradcafe.com/blogs/ Thanks!
  3. Who have you used to build your portfolio website? What do you like about them? How user-friendly is yours? Cost? Do you own your domain name? SmugMug. Squarespace. Portfoliobox. Cargo. Format. Carbonmade. Moonfruit. Dribbble. other
  4. Hello, All, This is my inaugural post on this forum I would like to know, what are the best blogging/self-publication platforms that ya'll use? I already know of Medium and I've just recently heard of Newzlet. What else is there? Cheers! Paul
  5. Hi Everyone, I'm working on a blog post on SLP Grad School interviews. I know it won't be super useful for us in this cycle, but I'm hoping it'll be helpful for future #SLP2B's. SO, I'm hoping that you all might like to help out and share any interview questions you've had thrown at you (or heard of being used) or any you think would be good to include in a practice list. If you'd prefer, you can always private message me too. Here are some questions I've been asked and others I think might be useful... Tell us about yourself. Why are you interested in SLP? How do you think you'll handle the challenge/stress of a graduate program? Do you have any special skills / certifications / experiences? What do you think makes an effective SLP? Tell us about any clinical experiences you have had. Are you interested in any particular populations? Thanks for the help, and best of luck to everyone waiting on applications.
