  1. Willing to swap or help with yours if you help with mine! Attending the University of North Carolina at ______ I began my undergraduate career with the intention of obtaining a degree in Psychology. This decision was based on my general interest in the brain and human behavior. After completing my second year I decided to double major in Biology due to my desire to understand the brain at its’ most fundamental level. As I advanced through my degrees and questioned what type of career I would like to pursue I became increasingly interested in the experimental side of neuroscience. I was pa
  2. Hi! I'm looking to apply to either a Clinical Psych PhD (with a clinical neuropsychology focus) or a Cognitive Neuroscience PhD for the fall 2021 admission cycle. 3.81 undergraduate GPA, honors student, going to do a thesis in the fall that could be applicable to either of these topics, I just need to nail it down with my advisor. I'm planning on graduating in December 2020 with a BA in Psychology, minor in Neuroscience. I have research experience. Currently, I work at a clinic that specializes in OCD and other related disorders as a research assistant. Primarily, I help create presentat

I am still waiting to hear back so I am not eligible to post anything yet (will come running and post my decision when I hear back the good news *fingers crossed*). Please come and share your exciting news! Where are you headed this fall?

I visited back in October and was told that their "graduate applicant day" is usually held at the end of January. Here we are in the middle of January and I have not yet received an invite (nor have I seen any posts about Brock). Getting nervous!
  5. Hi All, I know it's relatively early for such threads but I just took my GREs and wanted to get some opinion on whether I should consider a retake in light of my other achievements and goals. I intend to apply for cognitive neuroscience programs (either under psychology or neuroscience departments depending on the school) and I am gunning for top programs. I'd appreciate any helpful advice or feedback from those who've been through the process! Here are some of my stats: Female, International Applicant Undergrad Cumulative GPA: 3.91 at a large state school (not a UC school
