  1. Hello All, I’ve submitted my application to their program on 04/09/2020, and received my waitlist status on 04/23/2020. I’am supposed to hear back by 4/15 regarding my application. I’ve sent a confirmation of interest letter to both the admissions office and the dean. I’ve never thought that I would be considered for admissions at an Ivy League. So I’m still in a little shock. I’m also worried. For anyone that was waitlisted and had an additional three weeks for an answer, how did you cope or distract yourselves? A little about me... The reality is that I never
  2. Hi all! I applied and was accepted to both NYU and Columbia, and am trying to choose between the two. I would love anyone's opinions on the two, and also wanted to create a thread for NYU and CU folks who applied, were accepted, and/or committed?
  3. Greetings to all! I'm an international applicant to MSW 2020 fall. I'm lucky to be accepted by ColumbiaU and Umich, and I'm struggling to choose from them. I cannot go on a campus visit due to this epidemic. As I search through the Internet, I really feel comfortable with the atmosphere and culture in Umich, as well as the environment in Ann Arbor. However, ColumbiaU is one of a kind throughout the world with a famous Ivy title. It is really hard for me to let it go. Moreover, as MSW students we must go to field study. I'm kind of worrying about the NYC Metro if we need to take
  4. Anyone know the timeline for hearing back from Columbia MSW?
  5. Hi all- So I just called the Columbia Office of Admissions (I applied priority, Clinical Track with a focus in Children and Adolescents). And was told that my application was in the final stages of review and that I should hear back "very soon." Did anybody call/hear the same thing/how much sooner did you hear after? My anxiety is through the ROOF. Thx all for helping a V nervous candidate out 🙂
