  3. I am beginning my second semester in an funded engineering MS/PhD program, doing the PhD route. Unlike most programs, I was admitted directly into a PI's group who secured my funding. Currently, I am finishing up a MS in Reading and Literacy (as a reading specialist), and I have discovered a great joy that I have for research.
