Hi there! I am new to gradcafe so apologies if there are errors with this posting - I think I accidentally posted this as a reply to an existing thread originally. I'm applying to Clinical Psych PhD programs for the first time and am super nervous about realistically being admitted to the programs I am applying to (a total of six). Would love to hear thoughts or experiences from anyone who is currently or had previously applied to the following schools: Drexel University Temple University John Jay at CUNY Fordham University George Mason University Mo

Hey! So I'm trying to decide between Boston University and Drexel University for a MPH. I am looking for opinions on the epidemiology programs in particular. I'm pretty sure I will be heading that route. Also, I will be focusing on the LGBT+ community. So if there are any current students that can attest to the quality of education, opportunities for community involvement and real work experience, job outlook, LGBT-friendliness, networking, general satisfaction with the areas.. umm etc. Any and all opinions are welcome : ]

But it's so expensive! Does can anyone give me any insights on the programs and the general atmosphere in both the colleges? I've done some reading but it's really not helping me decide. And wow I wish I'd discovered this site sooner! I felt so alone during t

Hi folks, I have applied to PhD programs in iSchools for fall 2012 and have heard good news from them. I am now facing problems as which one to choose. Any one here facing the similar issue? Any one studying in these schools? What factors would you put in priority when you want to do your PhD and are looking for a research career in a top research university or a company like IBM, Microsoft, etc.? How important ranking is? Ranking of the program or ranking of the school in general? I would really appreciate your inputs!

The fall semester my senior year however I took a pharmacology course and loved it. After talking to the professor I decided to pursue pharmacology at the graduate level. I got an internship at a pharma company over winter break, did research the following semester and then took the gre during the summer. I recently applied for fall 2012 admissions and have my first interview at Drexel Medical College for their pharm/phys program in February. M
