My career is going to be focused on College Access, Equity, and Success. I want to explore this in a variety of professional opportunities such as college counseling in high schools and education nonprofits, student affairs, education policy, and eventually teaching. I know that I wouldn't dive into policy and teaching until way later in my career when I've built up an extensive amount of professional experience in the field. Which means as of now I'll be f
  2. Hi All, I am admitted to Columbia University (Teachers College)- Mental Health Counseling E.d.M, and USC- Marriage and Family Therapy, Master I did some research but some people said that teachers college is not as good as Columbia and some people even see it as separate or affiliated. But I really like the name of Columbia. For USC, I've talked to someone who went there and seems like he liked it a lot. Anyone has suggestions? Anyone knows anything about TC?

A friend of mine applied for doctoral programs in educational measurement this year, was only admitted to Master's program due to her lack of statistical training. I have very similar back
  4. Hi, Are any of you applicants to the EdLD program who chose an EdM as a backup? I am wondering when we may hear about being admitted to the EdM, and what the odds may be. I did not get an interview, but haven't gotten an official rejection either. MA 4.0 BA 3.75 GRE V 160, Q 150, AW 5 thanks!
